The interaction can look distinctive, but the arithmetic cannot become mysterious. Supported operators, function names, angle units, percentage behavior, rounding limits, and error states are documented beside the tool.
CalculatorNow experimental interface lab
The CyberCalculator category is where familiar mathematical tools get a more expressive interface without surrendering predictable computation, keyboard access, motion preferences, or calculation privacy.

Expression text is tokenized and parsed against an allowlist of mathematical grammar. Unsupported code and unknown identifiers are rejected instead of handed to a general-purpose evaluator.
History is useful when it can be revisited, corrected, and cleared. Entries remain in local browser storage; the calculation workflow has no account and no calculation API.
Reactive glow communicates a press and makes the console feel alive. The design also honors reduced-motion preferences and preserves visible focus, text labels, and high-contrast state changes.
Regular mode is the faster surface for household arithmetic, percentage changes, grouped totals, decimal work, and negative numbers. Scientific mode exposes trigonometry, logarithms, roots, powers, factorials, constants, and exponent entry without changing the underlying expression rules. Either mode accepts a complete typed expression, so the keypad is an aid rather than a gate.
