Editorial policy

Purpose

Content is written to help a visitor complete a real project-planning task. Pages should not be created solely to target a keyword or to present a thin variation of an existing calculator.

Formula review

Formulas are derived from standard geometry, finance mathematics, or product-coverage inputs. Product-specific defaults should be verified against manufacturer or supplier documentation before publication. Time-sensitive laws, incentives, rates, and regulations must not be hard-coded unless an owner is assigned to keep them current.

Transparency

Assumptions, rounding, waste, and limitations must be visible. Marketing language cannot imply that an estimate is a contractor bid, permit approval, structural design, tax conclusion, or guaranteed savings.

Corrections

Material errors should be corrected promptly, with the page review date updated. Send suspected errors to support@calculatornow.io.

Commercial independence

Advertising and affiliate relationships do not change calculator formulas or editorial conclusions. Paid placements must be labeled and visually separated from controls and results.
